The Clearwater Aquatic Team was founded in the 1970’s and evolved by 1992 into the current program which includes Age Group, Senior, High School, and Masters programs.

The Clearwater Aquatic Team is a non-profit corporation and operates under the auspices of USA Swimming, Florida Swimming, US Masters Swimming, and is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership.

All of our coaches, as members of the American Swim Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.
